Who am i?
Hi, I’m Andrea Ghouzi, an architectural designer currently working at Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design in Miami. My journey began in Paris, where I built the foundation of my architectural education before moving to Miami to complete my Master of Architecture with honors.
Over the years, I have gained experience working on a diverse range of projects, from residential buildings and private homes to educational and commercial environments. I began my professional path working alongside my former thesis mentor, where I was exposed to multiple project typologies and developed a strong understanding of design across different scales and programs. I later joined Zyscovich Architects, where I deepened my expertise in the design of both private and public educational institutions, contributing to projects that emphasized functionality, identity, and user experience.
In my current role, I am involved in all phases of residential design, from concept development and client engagement to technical documentation and coordination with consultants. This hands-on involvement has strengthened my ability to translate design intent into precise architectural execution.
I believe the most important quality in an architect is an insatiable curiosity and a constant drive to embrace new challenges. I am motivated by the opportunity to explore new design perspectives, collaborate with inspiring mentors, and continuously expand my skills. My goal is to contribute meaningfully to architecture by creating thoughtful, innovative spaces that respond to both human needs and their broader context.
